TheOS-1/H-1 zoning is consistent with the use of this property for a public park and will preserve the historic civil war site with the following Design Guidelines:
1) The Secretary of Interior's Standards should apply in determining future Certificates of Appropriateness for Fort Dickerson, and
2) Archeological investigation is required for any project that involves ground disturbance in the area zoned H-1 Historic Overlay.

The sector plan proposes public park, water and slope protection for this site.
