  • There was very little change in land use between 1995 and 2000, which indicates that there was very little growth in this sector.

URBAN GROWTH BOUNDARIES

  • Approximately 487 acres of county area have been designated as being within Knoxville’s Urban Growth Boundary according to the Growth Policy Plan Map adopted by the Knoxville and Knox County governments in January 2001.
  • Another 159 acres were designated as being within Knox County’s Planned Growth Boundary.
