  • The South City Sector has 25.8% or 1,826 acres of vacant land.
  • Approximately 50% of vacant land has environmental constraints. Most of the areas with slopes above 15% have development limitations.
  • The unconstrained vacant land has only 10% or 755 acres within sewer service areas.

  • Areas with higher crime rates

Infrastructure Issues

  • Sanitary sewer overflow after heavy rainfall in some areas
  • Groundwater contamination by leakage of underground fuel tanks
