Permit withdrawal of the plan

Consideration of the plan was postponed at the November 13, 2003, MPC meeting. Since that time, the MPC staff and the Tennessee Technology Corridor Development Authority staff have had discussions with representatives from the Knoxville Chamber Partnership and the Knox County Development Corporation, and several TTCDA board members. These discussions have addressed a wide range of issues affecting future planning and development within the corridor. As a result of these discussions, we have concluded that the plan should be withdrawn from consideration at this time so that we can step back and take a fresh look at how the Technology Corridor should be planned for future growth.
