This portion of right-of-way is not needed for public access to this area. The closure will permit an existing residence that is encroaching into the right-of-way to have a clear title established for recording a survey consistent with current zoning and subdivision regulations. A revised plat of the area is under consideration by the city, but cannot be approved until this closure is approved and incorporated into that survey.
